Keyword research
The keywords you can actually win.
Most content fails before it's written, on a keyword nobody could have ranked for. RankPine reads your site, the people you compete with, and your own Search Console, then scores every candidate on what it's worth and how hard it'll be — and only keeps the ones within reach.

The workflow
How the research works
We work out what you actually sell
It starts with your URL. RankPine crawls your site to build a profile — what you do, who buys it, which words your market uses — because a keyword is only good relative to a business. "Grind size" means something different to a café supplier than to a grinder manufacturer.
We pull candidates from four directions
The topics your own pages already suggest, the terms your competitors rank for and you don't, the queries Google Search Console says you're nearly winning, and the related searches showing up live in the results. Four sources means the obvious terms and the ones nobody has bid on.
We score them against your site, not in the abstract
Every candidate is scored on search volume, ranking difficulty, and intent — then weighted by how much authority your domain actually has. A keyword a big publisher would call easy can be out of reach on a new site, and we'd rather tell you that before you spend a month on it.
Volume is the vanity metric. Winnability is the one that pays.
Ten thousand searches a month is worthless if the first page is locked up by sites with a decade of backlinks. The map below is the one that matters: real volume on the vertical, difficulty on the horizontal, and one corner where you can genuinely compete.
Competitor gap analysis
We look at what your competitors rank for and you don't, and treat the overlap they've left open as the fastest ground to take.
Intent, not just traffic
Every keyword is tagged informational, commercial, or transactional, so your plan isn't all top-of-funnel reading material that never converts.
It re-scores as you grow
Difficulty is relative to your site. As you publish and pick up authority, terms that were out of reach move into the winnable set on their own.
Nothing is locked
Star the keywords you care about, drop the ones that miss, and add your own. The research is a strong starting proposal, not a verdict.

Keyword research, in short
Do I need an Ahrefs or Semrush subscription?
No. Keyword research is included — volume, difficulty, and intent data all come with your plan. There's nothing else to buy and nothing to import.
Where does the search data come from?
Search volume and difficulty come from live keyword data, and we layer your own Google Search Console on top when you connect it — that's the only source that knows what you specifically are already nearly ranking for.
Can I add my own keywords?
Yes. Add any term you want to target and it goes into the plan alongside the researched ones. You can also star keywords to push them up the queue, or drop the ones that don't fit.
How many keywords do I get?
Enough to keep the calendar full several times over — well over a hundred scored candidates per site, refreshed as you publish and as your rankings move.
