Team members

Invite people to collaborate on a site — assign roles, manage access, and let them work on your subscription without a plan of their own.

Bring people onto a site — a teammate, a client, a contractor — so they can review articles, manage the content plan, and tune settings alongside you. Everyone you invite works on your subscription, so they never need a plan of their own.

Team membership is per site. Someone you add to one site doesn't get access to your other sites unless you invite them there too.

Roles

Every site has one owner (whoever created it) plus the people they invite, each with a role:

Can…OwnerAdminMember
View & edit articles, keywords, and settings
Connect and manage integrations
Invite, remove, and change the roles of people
Manage billing and delete the site

In short: members are full collaborators on the content, admins can also manage the team, and the owner keeps billing and the site itself.

Managing your team

Open Settings → Team to see everyone on the site, invite new people, and change or remove existing members.

Invite someone

Open Settings → Team

You'll see the current roster: the owner, any members, and any invites that are still pending.

Enter their email and pick a role

Type the person's email, choose Member or Admin, and click Send invite. They'll get an email with a secure link to join.

They accept and they're in

The invite link is tied to that email address and stays valid for 7 days. Once they accept, they show up in the roster and can start working on the site right away.

No extra cost

Inviting people is free. Your subscription is priced per site, not per person — collaborators work on the site's existing plan and never start a trial or checkout of their own. See Billing & plans.

Accepting an invitation

When you're invited, you'll get an email with an Accept invitation link. Opening it shows you which site you've been invited to and the role you'll have:

The RankPine invitation page shown to someone who was invited

  • New to RankPine? Create an account with the email the invite was sent to, and you'll land straight on the site.
  • Already have an account? Sign in and accept. The invite is tied to the email it was sent to, so sign in with that address.

You won't be asked to add a payment method or start a trial — you're joining the site owner's plan.

Changing roles and removing people

From Settings → Team, owners and admins can use the menu next to any member to:

  • Change their role between Member and Admin.
  • Remove them from the site — they lose access immediately.

Members can leave a site themselves from the same screen. If you're removed from a site (or leave one) and it was the only site you had access to, RankPine takes you back to onboarding to set up a site of your own.

The owner can't be removed

Only the owner can delete a site or manage its billing, and the owner can't be removed or demoted. To hand a site to someone else, contact [email protected].
