This Cookie Policy explains how TECH RACCOONS LTD (“RankPine”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and app. It supplements, and should be read alongside, our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to keep you signed in, and to remember your preferences. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can be used for the same purposes.

Our approach

We keep cookies to a minimum. We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to run the Service and keep you signed in, a couple of first-party functional cookies that simply remember your own choices (such as your selected site and the sign-in method you last used), and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because we use only strictly necessary and first-party functional cookies — with no advertising or cross-site tracking — alongside cookieless analytics, we do not show a cookie consent banner.

Cookies we use

• rankpine.session_token — strictly necessary. Keeps you securely signed in to your account. First-party; lasts for the duration of your session and is cleared when you sign out.
• rankpine_active_site — strictly necessary / functional. Remembers which of your sites is currently selected so the dashboard shows the right workspace. First-party; lasts up to 12 months.
• rankpine_last_auth_method — functional. Remembers whether you last signed in with Google or with email so we can highlight that option next time. It holds only that preference — no tracking identifier. First-party; lasts up to 12 months. If you block it, you simply won’t see the “Last used” hint.
• Sign-in and security cookies — strictly necessary. During sign-in we may set short-lived cookies to complete authentication and to protect against cross-site request forgery.

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent because the Service cannot function without them.

Analytics and product measurement

We use Swetrix, a privacy-first analytics tool, to understand aggregate usage of our websites and app, such as which pages are visited. Swetrix is cookieless: it does not set tracking cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build advertising profiles. Where enabled, we also use error tracking and session replay to diagnose problems and improve usability; these are configured to avoid capturing sensitive input such as passwords.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to warn you about or block cookies. Please note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in and core parts of the Service will not work. Because our analytics are cookieless, blocking cookies does not affect them.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
